A UTI that isnt?

I recently went to my doctor due to pain at the end of urination. (No urgency. No flank pain. But some nausea) Being no stranger to UTI's, I thought that was exactly what I had/have. I noticed actual blood clots in my urine though which had never happened before. In fact in my sample, there was a lot. It really shocked me. - My doctor placed me on Cipro for 3 days and I have one pill left to take. My pain has subsided but still not gone completely, but there is no more visible blood in my urine.

My culture came back as no growth in 24 hours.

These were the detailed culture results:
Glucose, UA-NEGATIVE   (Negative is Normal)
Bilirubin, UA-NEGATIVE mg/dL (Negative is Normal)
Ketones, UA-20 mg/dL (0-4 is Normal)
Specific gravity, UA-1.021  (1.001-1.035 is Normal)
Hemoglobin,ur,ql-MODERATE mg/dL ( Negative is Normal)
pH, UA-5.5 (4.5-8.0 is Normal)
Protein, UA- 50 mg/dL (0 - 9 is Normal)
Urobilinogen, UA- <2.0 mg/dL (0.0-2.0 is Normal)
Nitrite, UA-NEGATIVE mg/dL (Negative is Normal)
LEUKOCYTE ESTERASE, UA-MODERATE   (Negative is Normal)
Appearance, urine-CLEAR
Color, urine-YELLOW
Specimen source- CLEAN

As a cancer survivor (breast, stage 2) of course when something comes back abnormal, I get concerned that something more may be going on. But I stay calm and wait to hear from my doctor. Usually, all works out just fine.
But this is something I would like a second opinion on.
Any guidance would be appreciated.

Of course, blood clots in urine are always a red flag and must be checked out.  If everything comes back "normal", you might discuss with your doctor, the possibility of Interstitial Cystitis (IC), which is chronic inflammation of the bladder wall.  One of the symptoms is painful urination and some people with IC have Hunner's Lesions in the bladder, which may cause blood clots in the urine. Other symptoms can include frequent urination, urgency and burning.

Every possibility should be investigated and ruled out.
