penile trauma/nerve damage

I have lost a lot of sensitivity due to self induced penile trauma.  I was overly rough during a bout of exercises (ie. trying to have consecutive multiple orgasms rather than stopping and forcing the blood back to my penis) and the next day incurred alot of pain below the glans.  Months went by and I hoped to regain some sensation but when it finally came back, only the top side regained some of it, the glans and frenulum remained very numb (underside can't be stimulated at all).  Orgasms aren't fulfilling like they used to be, not exciting.

After seeing a urologist years later, he was utterly useless after running several tests on me.
ie. checking my prostate, injecting my penis and running an ultrasound/doppler test to look at leaks
After all this he diagnosed me with penile trauma.  NO SHIET!  I knew this already and did not refer me to anyone else.

Is there anything or anyone I can try or see to regain the sensation I used to have in my penis?

Hey nearly 2 years ago I injured my penis. About 10 months ago I started to abstain from masturbation/sex and  keeping pressure of it. I am eating well and all the pain is gone and I have recovered some sensation. If I don't recover then God help me and every person who never got the opportunity to live a normal life.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi
Thanks for writing to the forum!

I can understand your frustration, but I am sorry to say that in case of a nerve damage there is nothing much a doctor can do. You have to wait for nature to take its own course and if the sensation does not recover and there is a loss of erectile function then your urologist can help you with the alternative treatment for this.
Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
