urethra discomfort

i've been having discomfort in my penis off and on for about 2 months.  i've tested negative for chlamydia and gonneria (sp).  the discomfort runs along the back of my penis (the urethra) and can be tender to the touch from the tip to about halfway down.  when i have to urinate or just after i urinate, the discomfort is greatest.  no real pain or welling or redness.  i was eeling better for a few days until i had sex w/my wife last night (after about 6 weeks off of sex) and now the discomfort is back.  i want my wily back!!

I've been having the same/similar problems since late October as well. Treated with every antibitiotic around and all bacterial/virus (herpes) tests have come back clean.

Pain in penis shaft persists along with frequent urge to urinate. Urologist advised not a stone since no blood in my urine.

Have you received any more input as to your diagnosis?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi,
You’re possibly suffering from urethritis. I’ll suggest a urine examination and also an ultrasound of the urinary tract to rule out the presence of any stones in the urinary tract. The stones can also cause repeated urethritis resulting in the pain & discomfort in the penis. I’ll suggest you to drink lots of water and you might need a course of antibiotics and for the same you should consult a urologist. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
