Will weight loss start up again when I take Topamax for the second time (after being off of it for several months)??

its my second time I'm not on it for weight loss but im deffinately lossing weight not alot but some slowly but surely but im also still on keppra which made me gain weight so they are sort of balancing each other out a little I dont have any appitite though and pop tastes terrible the only thing I ever want to eat or drink is water always thirsty........ and also can't find my words and the pins and needles feelings also have the weirdest problem where I forget how to even spell the simplest words like theyve been erased from my memory just draw a complete blank just like with the words but when I'm texting or writing...... it's very annoying!  Makes you feel really stupid at times!  My sister calles them blonde in a bottle pills but I've gotta take em so whatcha gonna do!

When i was on Topamaz i Lost alot of wait. I went to the dr. and they are now taking me off. i had 9 side effics. Not that everyone gets the side effices. but i did. they put me on a very high dose if it. so he is trying to put me on a lower does. but it also made me worrie alot more. Im hope he just takes me off of it for good. but i hope the pill works our for you. but it does make you lose wait.

No. I did not have any hair breakage or loss while on Topamax.  I do have problems with finding my words ( ie. I know what I want to say by I can't think of the word I want to use...).  I also experienced some tingling in my hands, but this could be from a combination of Topamax and other medications I take for another problem.
I have heard that the weight loss does not happen the second time you take Topamax, however I asked a pharmacist and he said that ALL the side effects would PROBABLY return.
Any one else lose weight the second time around??

did you have problems with hair loss and hair breakage while on topamax?? I have been experiencing tons of both so I stopped taking my Topamax. But, I now am gaining weight so I would like to start taking it again..But, I am weary of the hair breakage and hair loss..

The hair loss this is due to nutritional deficiency . If you aren’t eating very much due to the appetite suppressant,you aren’t nourishing your body. Try taking biotin, and vitamin D and b12 bcomplex and E and most importantly magnesium! And drink water . Always have a cup of water with you.
