Wow - well done you - thats a fantastic healthy heart rate :) x
O.K., I remembered for the last three days to count my heart rate for a full minute before getting out of bed. I brought my cell phone in and put it on the pillow so I would see it in the morning. It is also nice because my phone has a stopwatch with the push of one button, so...
I was, 54 on Fri. Women ages 26-35
55 on Sat. Athlete 54-59
57 on Sun.
That averaged out to 55.33 I was very surprised to have the heart rate of an athlete. I guess my exercise has really made a difference. This make me very happy and proud!
Somemorings I forget to do it first thing and end up doing it after breakfast which puts my resting heart rate up 5-9 points!!
O.K. guys. I was supposed to check in with my three day average heart rate and I keep forgetting to do it before I get up. I thought I'd set my alarm but it usually startles me and I don't think it will be good for my resting heart rate. I'm going to try and remember so I can post it on Sunday morning. I just wanted you to know I haven't forgotten.
I have a blood pressure monitor which shows my heart rate - I always take it first thing in the morning.
I'm going to do this so I'll see you back on Wednesday with my results. Sounds great!
I got an average of 64.6 so I am borderline good & excellent. At least first thing in the morning anyways. ^_^
Great post!
I will do this. We just bought a heart rate monitor for working out. It shows our heartrate as well as the % of our max hr we are at at the moment. It's really nice for getting oursleves in the fat burning zone & keeping ourselves there.
I'll post what my resting hr is in a few days. ^_^
I come out as 'Good' so need plenty more work yet! lol
