Food Diary

How many of you are using the Food Diary on here?

I am loving the reports page...

I checked online and found that ideally - your diet should be:

45-65% Carb
10-35% Protein
20-35% fat (max)

so after 2 daily dairy entries I am glad to se I am:

55% Carb
26% Protein
19% fat

I did it for a week a couple of weeks ago to see where my calories were going & it was very educational! There is no way I could use it every day, but I plan on doing one week a month to compare eating habits & see what I need to work on most. It really is a heck of a tool!

I love it too, especially for planning.  Got off of it the last week or so but will get back on shortly.

Well I have put in my proposed menu for the next 5 days so there is 7 days woth of data -  and I am pretty happy with the results -  I don't eat vegitables or salad, pasta, rice, wholegrains... so I often feel and can be made to feel unhealthy in my diet -  BUT I seem to be pretty good on the reports -  and my blood tests are always fantastic -  everything is always in normal ranges -  2 pregnancies not needing iron tablets - so I know I can be healthy on my current plan....

I have wiggle room to allow for extra calories every day  -so I feel sure I can shift this weight once and for all!
