Best foods to eat to lower my LDL asap and lose some weight

I just learned I have to get my LDL below 70 as soon as I can due to learning I have a50-70% plaque buildup in my LADIt is’t flow-limiting as yet ! They are putting me on a statin med to treat it aggressively and prevent having to put in a stent! Thus, trying to reduce me having aMI/CVA! I hope they are making the best plan, but it worries me! Anyway, I need to learn better eating habits and lose some weight! I am 5’2 and weight 159/160.

Check into the Mediterranean Diet.  It seems to be one of the best all-around ways of eating.  It focuses on vegetables, fruit, fish, smaller amounts of red lean red meat and chicken.    Exercise is also necessary to build muscles, which, in turn burn fat.  You can start out with a short walk each day.  It's best to aim for 30 minutes 3 times/week, but if you don't have time for 30 minutes, try 3 10 minute walks.
