Emotional eating

I'm starting my diet finally! I used to be in such good shape after boot camp and had my diet in check... Ever since I had my son 2 years ago I have clinched on to food so much. It's my best friend and helps me with all of my problems(hypothetically)... Can anyone help me with the feeling of needing food for comfort? I just want to eat for fuel and not for emotions! Thanks

Im in the same position and an emotional eater too. Its taken 2 months but ive managed to lose 12 kg's with 4 to go. After my second child the weight just piled on. Eating convenience food and not being able to exercise with 2 kids. Finally by cutting out bread and all sugar its dropped off. Im here if you need a weight loss buddy :) it helps to chat to a friend instead of opening the fridge. Its really changed the way i view food.
