Sunday Weigh In - October 30, 2011

Here we are again, with another week behind us.  I can't believe how fast this month has gone, and how little I've accomplished.  As many of you know, I've been spending a lot of time dealing with issues regarding my elderly aunt, who fell and fractured her hip.  Seems that has become my "full time job" for the time being.

I've been trying to watch what I eat, and since my "winter neighbor" arrived back in town, I've been walking as much as possible, but for some reason, my weight isn't budging.  While my weight fluctuates, throughout the week, I'm still sitting at 144 lbs, for the 6th week in a row.

Now, it's your turn; how is everyone else doing.  Losing?  Gaining?  Let us know so we can cheer you on or help motivate you, whichever you need.

ok well I went and weighed in today and there scale said -1 so I will take it a lose is a lose,

but I am a little down cus my scale said -3 I didnt go to my meeting place cus I have to do OT at work today and the scale at this place is a little heavyer so hopefully next week I can go to my meeting and be down a little more,  =0)

Hey, we need an awesome cheerleader, as our participation here is dwindling......... don't you worry about traversing the stairs, until you're cleared to do so..

One thing about me, is that when I'm under a lot of stress, I usually can't eat much without getting sick, so that could be why I haven't gained.  Another thing is my thyroid levels; I'm beginning to wonder if I need a "tweak" to my thyroid med.

I am home alone and not actually supposed to traverse upstairs "all by myself" yet. However, starting tomorrow, I will be alone full time anyway as my husband will be starting school. My point is, though, that the scale is upstairs. I didn't, though, think to weigh before I ate breakfast AND undressing is still quite the ordeal, lol. The knee isn't making everyday activities quite so everyday YET.

I also still have quite a bit of swelling and I'm sure my weight is "weird."  However, when I went to the doctor Friday, I was down 2.5 lbs from the prvious Friday (again, I believe this is 100% water weight).

I am just going to play cheer leader for now. Barb, with the stress you CONTINUE to be under, I remain amazed that you don't gain. Remaining the same is better than nothing PLUS, you stick with "us" week after week. We wish you only the best - with ALL that you are going through.

Giggles, hang in there yourself. Your positive outlook is paramount !

As for me - 144 lbs is not small for me; I am only 5' tall, so I have at least 20 lbs I  need to lose, but 30 would be better.  About the time I get my medications adjusted for my thyroid, it goes berserk again, so I end up back at square one..  I think my thyroid has finally "died", so hopefully, I'll be able to stay on an even keel.

Thanks for the encouragement.

I am just stopping by I will do my weight in tomorrow that is my weight watcher weight in so stay tooned,

I did start working out again Friday I did 2.25mils on the treadmill and yesterday did 2.25 miles on the treadmill and rode my bike for about an hour w/my Honey =0)

Barb your doing great staying at the weight you are at is better then gaining, how much more you wanting 2 lose?

I dont think I will ever get that small the last time I lost my smallest was 174 and I couldnt get past that think that was one of the reasons I started gaining back, not this time if I am lucky enough to get back to that I will be happy and then if I lose any more then it will just be the icing on the cake, lol
