Wow, that is a lot for a funeral. We've got one in two weeks and I'm feeling sorry for myself that we have to drive 150 miles up and have the service and the family gathering, then drive 150 miles back. You did quite a lot more!
My weight is about the same, maybe .4 of a pound less but since it's about 5 lbs. higher than I prefer, that's not great and is actually pretty annoying. With tomorrow Halloween, I'm sure to sneak in at least one "fun sized" candy bar. I'm going to try to go into the day appropriately fed, so I'm not hungry when it comes time to hand out treats.
My son just sat on the sofa with a hot cup of jasmine tea (straight out of the boiling pot), which he sat on the cushion next to his hip and it promptly tipped over and spilled onto him. Man, he jumped up screaming. His skin of his hip is scalded in a patch about the size of three people's hands. He's sitting in a cool bathtub right now, has taken ibuprophen, and we're watching in case it blisters. What we'll dress him in to keep it from rubbing on the raw area, I'm not sure -- he's always refused to wear sweatpants, so he doesn't have any. I've read that you can tape plastic film over a scalded area with bandaids or medical tape, and that it keeps the clothes from grabbing onto the skin when you move, but it's not going to be less painful. Poor kid. If it blisters tomorrow, or just aches a lot, I'll take him to the doctor. (Guess it goes without saying that I've told him "that's it" on ever drinking tea on the couch again.)
Well, off to face Halloween. Hope everyone has a great week!
