There's something wrong with the way you have the app set up; you should be able to eat more than 630 calories/day.  That's a starvation diet and would not be good for you.  Women should never go below 1200 calories/day.

Noodles would typically not be a good diet food, but it depends on what they're made of.

Noodles do not have a lot of nutrition, but they could be a part of your daily calorie intake if you include some quality protein and vegetables in good variety every day.  I agree that the lowest calories for a day would be 1200.  Eating a variety of foods with lots of color is important to nutrition.

That's a starvation diet and is not healthy.  no one should ever go below 1200 calories a day. And there is nothing wrong with eating noodles just pair it up with a good source of veggies. My calorie intake before i became pregnant waa 2800 a day, sometimes more. I eat healthy food but i also enjoy junk food now and again

I purchased this great little tool on amazon.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0026RMEK4

It's a spiralizer that makes "noodles" out of zucchini.  It's great!  Makes me feel like I'm eating spaghetti with meatballs :).

A tip if you purchase.  After spiralizing your zucchini, salt it and leave it in a colander for at least 30 minutes.  Pat excess dampness with paper towel, blanch in boiling water for no longer than 1 minute, drain, then sautée on high heat for 1 minute and remove from pan immediately for best results.

Hi there -

That calorie budget is too low. If it's our app that is giving you that total, you should check your goal and goal date. You may have it set to lose weight too fast. If your goal is more than 1 to 1.5 lbs a week, that's probably why your calorie budget is so low.

Let us know if you need assistance.

Too few calories will shut down your metabolism and you won't lose weight. You don't want your body to eat muscle or pull the fat from your nervous system.

Yes, 20 kg by the end of the year is too much.  That's 44 lbs, which means you'd have to lose a little more than 14 lbs/month.  Safe weight loss is considered to be 1-2 pounds/week or 4-8 pounds/month.

As has been noted, noodles have little, to no nourishment, while steak is chock full of protein, vitamin B12 and other nutrients.  A serving of meat is about the size of a deck of playing cards... how about a serving of steak, one fourth to one half serving of noodles and 2 servings of veggies?

I agree that noodles can fit into a healthy diet; they just need to be limited, because they are empty calories.
