feeling great

Feeling good lost lost 5lbs in 6 days because of not eating sweets & breads ,pasta.. 90 more to go

As Jazzy noted, simply eliminating white bread, regular pasta and sweets from your diet will help you lose weight... I lost 23 lbs over a period of 3 months, by doing the same thing.  

When I had a sandwich, I wrapped my "fixings" in lettuce leaves, instead of bread, but you can switch to whole grain bread instead of white or instead of having 2 slices of bread, just have one...  Try spaghetti squash instead of pasta or switch to whole grain pasta instead of regular pasta... OR simply cut your portions in half.  Have brown rice instead of white rice.  Try quinuoa in place of pasta and/or rice, etc.  Eat lots of veggies and protein, such as lean meat, chicken, fish, eggs, Greek yogurt.  I even went back to full fat dairy for some of my protein.

Eliminate sugar and sugary foods, along with processed foods altogether.   Replace them with whole fruit, but remember, fruit has a lot of natural sugar, so limit that to one or two servings/day, also.

I added added more fat, from things like coconut oil, olive oil, avocados, etc to help fill me up and squelch the cravings for the simple carbs such as those found in breads, pasta and sweets.  

Last but not least, make water your drink of choice and eat reasonable portions... I found that I really can be satisfied with much less food, if I eat the right things.
