?? ENTEROCELE

I AM 9 WEEKS POST-OP TOTAL HYSTERECTOMY. 12 DAYS AGO I FELT A SHARP PAIN 2-3 INCHES BELOW MY NAVEL WHEN LIFTING AND STRAINING. SICE THEN I HAVE HAD THE SENSATION OF SOMTHING ABOUT TO FALL OUT WITH PULLING PAIN IN PELVIS. HEAVY PRESSURE TO RECTUM WHEN SITTING ON TOILET. PRESSURE OVER BLADDER IS WORSE WHEN BLADDER IS EMPTIED. MY DR SAYS I PULLED MY BACK. NO IMPROVEMENT AFTER 3 DAYS BEDREST. THEN HE SAID I HAVE A UTI. TODAY THE PAIN HAS PRGRESSED TO INGUINAL PRESSURE. THE PRESSURE IS RELIEVRD WHEN LYING DOWN.

Hi Suecat

I am posting to you due to having a cystocele and suspected enterocele and wonder how you are and if you have had surgery for you reported problems in the above posting.  I realise your posted a long time ago but not many people seem to report about enteroceles and I did feel you sounded as though you had one from your post.
I hope you are well and have remedied your situation.

Kind thoughts
Val

i don't think you have pulled your back or have a uti... i think you have a prolapse... I'm not sure of what or where exactly... but you should skip your doctor (who sounds like he or she isnt listening to you) and see the surgeon who performed you hysterectomy.  I'm sure they will be able to help you (or at least reassure you) as soon as you tell them your symptoms
good luck, and keep going til you get an answer for your problems.
