Well, it would be very rare if you ARE pregnant and you get a negative pregnancy test unless you've taken it too early.  Wait a week and try it again.  Periods can often be just late . . .   for a variety of reasons such as stress, changes in routine, illness, gaining or losing weight, etc.  And lots of those things happen around the holidays.  So, wait and see if it shows, if it is still not there in a week, take another pregnancy test.  good luck

Usually, aamir1, a negative pregnancy result negates that possibility.  She will find out soon enough but am thinking she is not pregnant.  good luck to the poster

Hi there, welcome.  Well, I'm not sure if what you are saying means you definitely are not pregnant. The negative pregnancy test is the best indication of that and there is always the chance you've taken the test too early.  To me, cramps means your period could be on its way.  So, wait and see and if it doesn't show in another week, take another test.  Hopefully it will come soon and you can stop worrying.  good luck
