15 days "late" doc refused to address problrm

Ok so i am extremely regular when it comes to my period almost to the hour. Always have been. I am obese unfortunately but has not effected my period at all... well i was 15 days late 3 negative tests , made the soonest appoinment i could. On the 16th day i started spotting and spotted for two days, so lightly it was only a tiny smear when i wiped like hardly any at all. I finally had my appoinment 2 weeks later, over 2 months since my last regular period...i explain my fears and explain this is totally off for me.. she basically ignores it, and when i ask what could cause this she tells me its "probably" because your a big one.... i was just in shock, she refused to do a urine test,a blood test, any test... she did a pap but didt look at my cervix nothing... 2 days later, (early for my period) i spotted again this time for 3 days ( i usually have regular on time heavy 5 day periods) something is still off im not accepting that im just as she said a big one... anyone else have anything like this happen? Woke up this morning (2 weeks since appoinment would be 8 weeks pregnant) nauseated and head aches, cramps and bloated . Plan to test again but i am jus aggravated that she did nothing!!! False negatives happen on hpts... especially if my hormone is low i need a blood test ,if not pregnant something else is wrong. I have a feeling no one will listen..

Hi there.  Actually, your doctor is right hon.  Periods are often this late out of the blue for many women.  Happened to me.  In fact, once it started, I got periods every 3 to 4 months due to out of the blue, my hormones being out of whack and this lasted for a year.  Doctors want women to have periods at least once in a 3 month period before they get concerned.  15 days is not long. Pregnancy tests that are wrong are wrong typically because the user didn't use them correctly or it is too early to test.

At my age, I can tell you that you can be chugging along for a LONG time with a very regular pattern and then bam, it changes.  I've gone through this many times.  Try not to worry or panic about it.

My hormonal imbalance causing long cycles righted itself without medical intervention.  Some women do get on the pill to do it though.  good luck

First off I would like to say that Doctor is a *****. I have something similar happen to me but it went back to normal by next period. I would go see a different Doctor and get tested as soon as possible. Good luck!
