3 week period?!?!

I've been on my period for 3 weeks as of today. The blood flow has increased over the past 3 days. I've only been experiencing periods for a little over 6 months, as I am 14, and I don't know what this means!!!

No, I've been afraid to see what they say. My longest period before this was 8 days. Actually I didn't have a period at all in October, and this started Nov. 27th.

Irregular periods in the beginning of getting your period is normal. However in six months of pretty regular periods to a three week period, maybe you want to see your doctor or pediatrician. Just to make sure... Or see what they say. Have you mentioned to your mom or parents?
