I know what you mean about being confused.  I was 6 days late then yesterday there was blood when I wipped, but just a little.  So I thought my period was coming.  Then again, I am never never late for this long (at the most, I've been late 1 day only my entire life).  My husband and I have been trying to conceive too.  Today, I don't have much spotting anymore.  I felt all the pregnancy symptoms for the last two weeks (nipples hurting, nauseous, stomach cramping, tired) then yesterday, I didn't feel any of that and my nipples no longer hurt.  I'm just as frustrated and confused as you as I would love to be PG.  I have an appointment on May 1st, I figure that's long enough to wait.  I wish you the best of luck and hope you're pregnant!  You're not alone, take care.

After 1 week past your missed period the pregnancy test should show positive for nearly 100% of people.  It is much more likely at this point that you have simply missed a period for some other reason.  The mother starts to feel fetal movement at about 13-25 weeks, so it is way too soon.  It is good that you had the blood test to put your mind at ease, and if you miss 3 periods (if regular before) or 6 periods (if irregular before) or your are trying to conceive you should have a workup for secondary amenorrhea to find out what's keeping your period away and get it treated so you don't have additional symptoms such as loss of bone density.
