4 embreyos were transferred. I started bleeding on 12th day after ET.It started with light ping and turned to red and just spotting.I had my blood test yesterday.the level was very low i.e. less than 1.today is my 15th day after 3day ET.I had all the symptoms but suddenly symptoms stopped.Doctors said clearly that it's negative.
Doctors asked me to stop progestrone.I got periods but not in flow.

Can I be still pregnant in such scenario.

I received a negative blood test when I was 2 wks along then finally a positive at 6 wks. There are two types of blood HCG pregnancy test. The positive/negative requires an HCG level of 25 to read positive yet a quanitative HCG will just measure the amount in your system. Most women do not produce HCG unless pregnant so if you were to get this test done and say you were level 20 you would still have recieved a Neg on the other test. I always ask for the quanitative test now since I cannot rely on the positive/negative. Just a thought that might help. Good Luck.

I had 2 faint lines on 2 different pregnancy test i took but the blood test that i had took just 4 days after my missed period was negitive i had took one of the pregnancy test that evening when i got out of the doctor an got the fiant line than i waited 2 days an took another an also was faint an than that friday i got the negitive test results in the mail, well neatless to say im still not exactly sure if im pregnant or not cuz of the PCOS i got plus the test, ive been regular for the past 6 months after i had the holes drilled in my ovaries, thats when i started becomin regular the first day of my last period was jan 19th 2008 an here it is Mar 18th an still nothing but spotting off an on  for the past 2 weeks.  2 days before my period was supposed to start i spotted light brown for 2 1/2 days.. I havent had any red blood what so ever its all been light pink to light brown an its just usually there when i wipe,im also spotting after sex so ive stopped completely until i know exactly whats goin on i know i dont have any STD cuz of the pap i had done back in dec an ive been with the same person since sept so thats out of the question. I dont think ive had a cyst bust cuz my stomach isnt hurting real bad its just cramping ever so often an its a bareable cramp, ive been gassy like crazy an a little nauseous the gas pains that ive been havin hurt more than the cramping does lol. A nurse i talked to not to long ago said shes heard alot of different storys bout blood test an how exactly they work. Also heard if you have a progesterone deficiency it will also make your blood test show up a wrong results. So my advice if its not showing up on your blood test an you expect your 5 wks or a little over have a ultrasound done to see if they can hear a heart beat or see anything an they could also look at your ovaries to make sure things look normal there. (btw i know some of you are goin to be wondering why i havent tested with a HPT again well the reason for that is i dont want to take it an it show up positive again an my hopes get high once again to just find out im not,it was hard enough on me when i got the blood test back so im holding off till i get to my OBGYN an see what he has to say bout things just wanted to get that out there so i didnt get any rude comments an why i havent tested yet again.) Oh an also on some of the HPT on the paper thingy that it comes with it says on there that having problems with your ovaries like i got can show up a false positive or a false negitive so im kinda stuck =/ anyone have any advice on anything or had a problem similar?

Has anyone ever heard of a woman not produceing HCG?? Because, my mother didnt show up on a test when she was preg with me till she was 3-4 months. I am about 9 weeks by my count. I have taken test after test, I dont even want to go to the dr anymore because he thinks I'm crazy. I haven't had a cycle since october!!! He kept acting like he knows my body better then I do. Is it posible that when I go for my yearly they will be able to tell??

malq I'm not sure how you were able to test your blood every week, are u able to buy those tests online? Why wouldnt you just wait for a missed period...

also you could've just been having normal symptoms of fertility.  Give or take a few weeks they arent really sure when you actually implanted.  Thats why they allow women to go a couple weeks over their due date. So you think you might've been 5 weeks pregnant, but who really knows.

Wait until you miss a period and than go get tested.  Its only approximately a 2 week wait from implantation usually right... considering a 28 day cycle? No point in trying to test everyday, how stressful.

Here is a link that talks more about HCG levels.  Like it states, you must have a blood level above 5 mIU/ml to be even considered 'maybe'. Pregnant women attain blood serum concentrations of at least 10-50 mIU/cc in the 7-8 DAYS following implantation. Within the first 2-4 weeks after fertilization, hCG usually doubles every 48-72 hours

You've probably got your hopes up and keep them there just like malq did.

It depends on the type of blood test.  If it was a quantitative test, and it's negative, then you were absolutely not pg at the time of the test.

If you did have a fertilized egg that implanted after the test was taken that is how it's possible to end up being pg even after receiving a negative quantitative blood test.  The odds of this happening depend entirely on when the blood test was done.  If it was done after AF was due, the odds are very slim.

Yes it can.  I tested negative until 5 weeks with a blood test.  I knew I was pregnant from day 5, but all HPT and blood tests said no.  I'm 17 weeks pregnant now.

No.  Sorry to tell you but the blood test is definitive.  It detects any tiny tiny amount of HcG in your blood (the pregnancy hormone).

If a blood test cant pick it up, than your pregnancy wouldnt stick either way.

You have to have a certain amount of HcG flowing around in your blood in order for the pregnancy to stay.
