Bled with Yeast infection after sex

So I had been treating a yeast infection for 4 days, I got from starting some newly prescribed migraine medicine. I had all the classic yeast infection symptoms, however my symptoms weren’t as severe anymore. I finished the diflucan and was on my fourth day of Monistat 7 course treatment, so I decided to have sex with my boyfriend, despite how sore, itchy, and inflamed my vagina was. Fast forward, when he put it in, even before, he punctured something outside my labia because I heard a pop sound and I started bleeding on his penis. Not heavily, enough to fill a panty liner. The bleeding stopped after 30 minutes but I couldn’t walk after. The entire time we had sex was excruciatingly painful. I just wonder where that bleeding came from. I went to check myself in the bathroom and my lips were spread thin. I went to my oB the next morning and he couldn’t find any lacerations, however? I can feel it when I walk and urinate. It’s ok the right side of my Labia. We were very excited so could me having a yeast infection cause me to bleed during sex!

That sounds really painful.  That is probably why.  I'm glad to hear the yeast infection is gone---  and hope it stays gone.  Let me know after you have sex if anything else happens.  You are probably in no hurry after that last experience!!

That is really difficult to say.  You can have some bleeding during a yeast infection because in general, you may be really irritated in your vagina and surrounding areas from the yeast infection.  But the popping and gushing of blood is a bit confounding.  Have you had sex since this happened?  What happened when you did??  Also, it's a good idea to use a condom when you have a yeast infection to have intercourse because your partner can get yeast on their penis!  And then they get a yeast infection and they pass it back to you.  It's a pain!  Anyway, have you had sex since this episode?

I haven’t had sex since it happened. But during the encounter my vagina was severely swollen that, he had to basically force his way in, that’s why I heard the noise and the bloood came afterwards. The infection is gone now after days of diflucan! So we’ll try again
