I am a 27 year old mother of three.I am 11weeks pregnant with my 4th child. Today I went to the bathroom, to my surprise I started dropping blood everywhere. Something feel out of my vagina that reminded me of a peice of raw steak. It was just that thick and big.The blood was really dark.I was terrified. I had my fiance take me to the doctor. In the er I had a pelvic exam that showed my cervix was still closed. I had bloodwork done that came back fine. I had an ultrasound done that was great as well. To my dismay the doctors in the e.r. could not tell me what was wrong or what had happened or even if it would happen again. They dischardged me with no meds for the cramping that I was having and no meds for the back pain that I was having. Only telling me "I dont know'. I was advised to go to my regular ob on tommorrow and I will. I am still shaken up.The fact of not knowing scares me to death. Please advise! .
I forget mention that she checked my cervix and said it is closed which good sign but it may be threatened miscarriage, I am not able to digest this as i have already gone the same pain in jan
Thanks Kim for responding...I told doc every thing what ever is happening to me and she asked the specimen of the clot to send it to test lab to find out the reason..I gave her that..luckily i saved the big clot. but she said the she can not say any thing if iam miscarrying or any thing at this point unless she gets reports..she told me to take bed rest which i am doing rt now. As she asked me to wait another 72hrs for second blood test after my first blood sample test they took on 06/03 bcoz it need atleast 72 hrs to see hormones level change/variation from day1 to day 2 with 72 hrs gap....I am wondering if any body had been this and had healthy pregnancy?
doctor. you said your supposed to go back, you should still let them know your bleeding still. they dont have to have you wait 72 hours. they can check it everyday if needed. it should be going up sooner than 72 hours
Anytime your bleeding you need to talk to your doctor. and because your clotting you should especially call your odctor.
