Breast lump

By chance I detected a hard like small pebble thing in my breast. I am on my first day of menses and both breasts are swollen and sore. I am 43 and kinda freaked out.Any lady out there has something similar that turned out to be benign?

How hard? I've had saline cysts before that I could feel with my fingers. You could schedule a mammogram pretty easily, most likely, since the medical establishment wants those to be readily available  for preventative reasons. Why not call in and schedule one for about 5 days from now? You could get your answer quickly.

I do want to say that any time you have a breast lump, go ahead and get it checked out.  Doing some reading suggests that this is a benign breast lump like a blocked breast gland.  But you should get that checked.  https://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/health/conditions-and-diseases/common-benign-lumps

I have watched a film and a lady had a lump on her breast and it turned out to be breast cancer. I'm not sure if it's real in real life but you should deffo get it checked out. I hope it's not cancer. Good Luck!

Even if she does not want surgery, she should get the lump checked. It may be something minor (such as a saline-filled milk duct) but even if it were more serious, she will not be forced into surgery. She would have time to discuss things with her doctor and see what is what.

Hi guys! Update: it wasn't cancerous. The dr said she saw it in my previous mammos. I haven't checked it again (covid sucks) but it hasn't grown at all.

That's good news. I have a saline cyst that has appeared in three mammograms now. It shifts a bit but doesn't go away, but the doctor is not worried about it at all.
Its nerve racking but hopefully we will be fine!
Wow, first, so appreciate you coming back and updating us!  You're smart to get checked out, we always should when finding a lump.  And I'm so happy it is nothing!  GREAT news!  (and yes, covid stinks).
