My last normal period was Jan 7, 2014. My breasts have been hurting since the end of January. On February 25, I had some pink on the toilet paper when I wiped after using the restroom. I've gone up two bra sizes within 3 weeks. I've gained weight. My belly is bloated. I have nausea, dizziness, headaches, & breakouts on my face (I don't break out with acne). I'm physically exhausted. No matter how much I rest or sleep, I'm tired. I pee at least 2-3 times every hour. My lower back is starting to hurt & I have lower abdominal pain. I've had three negative urine PTs and one negative blood PT. My doctor told me that I might be pregnant. The blood test was a qualitative (just tells yes or no if HCG level at a certain level) & not a quantitative (tells the exact level of HCG in the blood) test.
My doctor did a lot of blood tests on me. Everything is normal. My liver enzymes are good. Blood sugar is good. Thyroid levels are normal. Blood counts & metabolic panel are normal. My kidneys are normal. I'm going crazy! Something is going on with my body.
I've had ovarian cysts in the past. A few have ruptured. I had pregnancy symptoms when I had the ovarian cysts. But, I don't have the same pain now that I had with the ovarian cysts. I was so dizzy at work the last few days, that I felt faint.
If I'm pregnant, I'd be around 11 weeks. If the February 25 spotting I had is considered a period, I'd be around 4-5 weeks pregnant. I'm thinking that I might be too early for a pregnancy test to show positive.
Hubby & I are not actively trying for a baby right now. But, we do want more children. A baby would be a blessing & a welcome surprise. I don't want to believe that I'm pregnant if I'm not. I know sometimes, the mind can trick the body onto thinking its pregnant.
I've had two daughters. My girls are 14 & 7. With my first pregnancy it took a while for me to get a positive PT. With my second, I went to the doctor because I felt sick & thought I had a virus. Sure enough, I was 3 weeks pregnant. The line on the PT at the doctor's office was very faint, but there.
I've heard stories of women that were 3 months or more pregnant before they received a positive pregnancy test. A friend of mine was almost 5 months pregnant before she knew for sure.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I want to know if there is anyone out there that has gone through this. I feel so alone. I'm trying not to freak out & think that something is terribly wrong.
