brownish discharge

I have been in birth control for 3 months and on friday i had sex for the first time, according to my calendar i was ovulating that day, but he used a condom and did not ***. And the condom was not lubricated so it was abit painful.I noticed brownish discharge after. I then had sex again on Monday but with a lubricated condom. He did not *** again. And again the same brown discharge showed up.Today is thursday and I still see the brownish blood dischare but then after school today i was bleeding red blood but not alot.

So my question is...
1) is this normal?
2)Can being sexually active change your cycle and make ur period early or late?

I take Loestrin 24fe and i am currently on the white pill and i usually get my period when I take the brown pills. So i am very confused. I'm 17 but i was put on the pill to stay safe while my boyfriend uses condoms. I just want to know if I should have anything to worry about.

Hey, i have the same problem and i know exactly what your describing. No need to worry when on loloestrine your period cycle is slower at reacting than if you werent on it. Lets say your period before birth control was light and the normal blood color but now with the birth control or the pill it is kind of behind so our periods is just old blood and then it will go away. I hope this helped do not let anyone scare you into thinking it could be implantation bleed. Implantation bleeds last for a day and is not a very dark brown they are a mixed between bright red and a rusty color. :) hope this helped!

Hello,
Pregnancy can occur if there was precum before inseryion of condoms. Brown discharge  could also be due to delayed shedding of endometrial lining or an early onset of menstrual cycle. It could also occur due to STD’s, Pelvic inflammatory disease, pregnancy and trauma to the vagina or cervix or uterus.

If the symptoms persist then get it checked from a gynecologist.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.

Hello,
These can be the symptoms of pregnancy and the brown spotting can be due to implantation bleeding or corpus luteum defect. However to confirm the status of pregnancy, I suggest you to test for pregnancy by a highly sensitive pregnancy test 10 days post ovulation with a sensitive ( 20 - 25 mIU ) pregnancy test. Also then I would suggest you to get your serum HCG levels estimated since this is more specific than urine for pregnancy tests.
