Can anyone help me figure out my vaginal infections that been going on for years?

So I have been having this recurring vaginal infection that I don’t know what it is. It is not BV, yeast or UTI. After my period I have yellow tacky discharge with a foul odor and then the discharge varies in color from cloudy white to yellow throughout the month My main concern is the odor. Every time I sit next to a person their sniffs and holding their noses, my roommate does it a lot. I shower twice a day, and clean my Vagina with water and a rag and every time I wipe my Vagina and butt in the shower it smells rotten ( not fishy or yeasty) I have been to six doctors in the last 2 years and they diagnosis me with UTI, yeast, or BV and give me meds but say they don’t smell anything, and then I leave the appointment with everyone holding their noise and sniffling.  They have done swabs and ultrasound. I have spend hundreds of dollars in doctors office. I recently went to the doctor last week and she thought it was BV or she gave me medicine and a aqueous cream but the symptoms didn’t go away. I have been using represh the probiotic.  I think it’s PID but I don’t know. Can anyone help me or give me tips, please.

What have you been tested for and what antibiotics have you been prescribed?

Have you been tested Chlamydia/Gonorrhea? Trichmoniasis and BV are treated with the same antibiotic. You MUST complete tye full cycle and be sure your partner is treated too otherwise your just passing infections back and forth. Also, if youve been on antibiotics may need to change meds, you may be built up immunity such as to metronidazole (Flagyl) if you've used it quite a bit. Its typical for a doc to swab which tells them if you have vaginitis. The three main causes of vaginitis are infections like bacterial vaginosis, yeast, or the trichomoniasis.

Apologies for any typos, I'm on my phone.
No worries. I have been tested and prescribed medication for yeast, UTI, and BV throughout this two years.  I was prescribed metronidazole multiple times, just finish getting off of it but the symptoms are still there. I have been prescribed Bactrim and Fluconzole. I have never had sex but I have done urine cultures were they test for Chlamydia, Gonorrhea and Trichomoniasis. Do you think it’s PID? I know I should go to the doctors but I’m tired of spending money to get the same result.

I assume somewhere along the way the doctor has looked for a forgotten tampon? Have you had an ultrasound or a uterine MRI? Have they checked you for a white count that would indicate an infection? Have you had the same sexual partner throughout, such that if you have BV and get treated, he could be giving it right back to you? (Your partner needs to be given the same antibiotic as you, at the same time, to break this chain.)

I don’t wear tampons, never have. I have had an ultrasound done. Not a uterine MRI or a white count. I have never had sex so it’s not a STD. Thank you. I’ll ask my doctor to perform an uterine UTI and to check my white count.
A white count is much simpler than a uterine MRI, so start with that. If you have an infection, you should have an elevated number of white blood cells.

Also, is this affected by what you eat?

Oh I’m so sorry you are going through this. I wish I could help but I can give 1 suggestion that’s worth a shot — get SiriusXM Radio and listen to channel 110 it’s called “Doctor Radio”. I listen to it everyday while driving. Every hour is a different specialty and they just talk about anything and everything and accept phone calls and emails for listeners to ask their questions. I’ve used it myself a few times ( for the cardiologist) but I think that’d be a great option. If you look on SiriusXM website they have the schedule of who is when. They also say it throughout the day over the radio :)
