I recently had a second cervical biospy and that same night I came down with sepsis(Blood poisioning). The hospital emergency room did not diagnose me until three days later. They sent me home and told me it was a fever. Which was 108 degrees.
Anyway, three days later I was hospitalized with sepsis and placed on an IV antibotic for 10 days, it took along time to get my fever down. By blood count dropped to 8. I have always been anemic and b-12 deficency all my life.
Well, the day I was admitted into the hospital for sepsis - they placed me on heprin (I have lupus anticoagulant, sle, pulmonary hypertension etc..) I started bleeding heavly from the cervix during this time. My obgyn thought it was the heprin and I was taken off it.
Well, now it is over four months later and the bleeding has increased for up to five weeks flooding the whole time.
I have been given two iv iron treatments - which got my cbc up to 11. But, now my cbc is dropping fast down to under 9 now in less than three weeks.
My doctors all think it is early menopause and what to give me progestin or a shot to induce menopause in hopes of stopping this excessive bleeding.
I still do not agree that it is early menopause. As the bleeding did not occur until I was hospitalized with sepsis.
I am trying to find answers. As the cure for menopause seems worse. And I do not want to possibly die from a stroke because of it.
