Change in texture inner labia next to vagina opening

Hi,

Today I have noticed a change in the texture of my inner labia, right next to the opening of my vagina. It feels rougher, like a cat's tongue, and it looks like a row of tiny warts, looking "healthy". It is a bit itchy, but not much.

I was wondering, what could be causing it? I am experiencing a lot of stress lately, due to work and personal issues.

Luckily, I got a Pap smear last Thursday, so I will know if this is caused by the HPV (which I doubt, since I am sexually active, but with a steady partner for many years already).

Thanks for your help!

Hi. Did you get the change in texture after the pap?  Sometimes irritation to the area can cause skin changes.  Anything else different?
