Could I be pregnant or is there something wrong with my uterus?

Last night, after sexual intercourse, I felt an extreme pain in my lower abdomen. I had been cramping all day, as I do before my period comes, but this pain was unbearable and my period still isn’t here (now 4 days late). I went to the toilet (I was struggling to walk because of the pain) to see if it could be something to do with my bowel, but nothing happened. I thought I could be constipated, but I remembered that I had been to the toilet earlier in the day and everything was normal. After about 5 minutes of being in the bathroom, I suddenly began to feel extremely weak and nauseous. I tried to throw up when I felt the urge, but nothing came up.  I sat down and leant against the bath and I started to sweat excessively and start to become really hot. The bathroom window was open and there was a breeze, but my boyfriend still had to bring me a fan because I was struggling. I couldn’t even hold my phone because I was so weak. We called for someone to come and pick me up and take me to a walk in centre, because I didn’t feel an ambulance was necessary, but by the time they arrived, I felt fine, just a mild cramp. I didn’t end up going to the hospital because it didn’t happen again  and I now feel fine. I am just worried and in shock because all of this happened in the space of 20 minutes and I don’t have a clue what it was or what it was caused by. At first I thought it could be good poisoning, and while the symptoms were similar, from a past experience I knew it wasn’t that.

Has anyone had these symptoms before? I did a symptom checker and one of the top 3 was pregnancy. Could I be pregnant? Has this happened to anyone who later found out they were pregnant?

Well, did you have unprotected sex?  That's really a big question.  It's always a chance you got pregnant if you had unprotected sex.   However, those things you mention do not sound like symptoms of pregnancy to me.  And in actuality, early pregnancy symptoms are really subtle and things you mention do not start right away. They start at about 6 to 7 weeks into pregnancy.  Cramping happens but it is usually very mild and not the point it is excruciating.  You may have a simple cyst which is not dangerous. They pass on their own.  But of course, I don't really know. My suggestion is to take a pregnancy test to make sure --  and if negative, see a doctor if you continue to have these symptoms.  good luck
