Could I have an infection or be possibly pregnant?

I am 21 years old and am sexually active with my boyfriend. Once in a while I notice this light pink discharge sometimes watery. When I first noticed it, it did last a few days but it was around the time I began using Summers Eve cleansing soap so I stopped and the spotting stopped. I also took a pregnancy test then and it was negative. I notice light pink spotting again last week but it only lasted a day, I also took a test that day and it was negative. Today i noticed the light pink spotting again, there is no pain whatsoever or cramps I do however have some itching down there it’s not everyday tho I just figured it’s because of shaving. Sometimes the discharge is watery or kind yellow looking. For example when I wipe it appears watery. Maybe two or three times I have experienced pain or a sting when peeing after sex, it also hurts for a little bit when he puts it in me but it’s not super painful. We always use protection by the way. Could this be an infection or could it be possible pregnancy?

Spotting sometimes happens with no infection and no pregnancy.  :>)  It' doesn't have to mean anything like that. It could just be your hormones a little out of sync.  Or you've got a vascular cervix with lots of blood vessels and you've had sex and they've let off a little blood that mixes with your discharge.  OR you do have a yeast infection (itching is indicative of this) and you are irritated.  OR your body reacts to summer eve by irritation.  (by the way, that product is not good for you and NEVER douche!  Doctors do not recommend this as it changes the ph of your vagina and kills off natural flora that combats yeast and bacteria).  Use condoms for sex always (pull out method doesn't work).  And keep track of your symptoms.  If this pattern of pink spotting continues, see your doctor to discuss.  If a doctor isn't something you have on a regular basis, clinics like planned parenthood are good for this type of thing too.  Let us know how it goes.
