Could i possibly be depressed?

okay, i noticed that for over a month now ive been sleeping ALOT more, i come home from school at 330pm and fall asleep until 8 and im only up for enough time to do chores(sometimes), eat, and shower then i sleep and over sleep sometimes, and i sleep in almost every class. I eat ALOT more and im gaining alot of weight. I get mad about everything anyone tells me even if i know its not true & i blame myself. Ive had really bad stomach & lower back pains. I'm seventeen & I know most people think teens dont get depressed... but lets just say ive lost alot in my life that i messed up & i'm dying to get back.. i dont wanna tell my dad i think somethings wrong because he already feels bad that i hate it here.

If you think even mentioning pregnancy (to reassure him) will just scare him, tell him you need to see a doctor because you are sleeping 18-20 hours a day and think something is wrong that you would be so sleepy.  Good luck!

It sounds like depression to me.  Tell your dad that you need to see a doctor.  He doesn't need to know why in particular, though you could do him the favor of reassuring him it's not pregnancy.
