Cyst on Clitoris

I recently visited a gynaecologist about itching in my vagina and after an examination she told me my clitoris is larger than normal and I need to reduce the size i.e. more or less cut off my clitoris. I, of course, ran. I visited another gyno who said there is a cyst on my clitoris and I should have it surgically removed. I asked her how it was going to be surgically removed without doing something that would damage the nerves in my clitoris and she didn't really give me a satisfactory answer and I can't find much information about this online. Has anyone else every had this? I am getting really scared.

I have had a clitoral cyst that’s come back multiple times.  I’ve had it excised under local with a word catheter inserted to help it heal from the inside out and it came back a couple more times until i had surgery under general anesthesia by a surgical obgyn.  It’s returned twice and when it’s not infected, the scar tissue itches ALOT.   Still don’t know what caused it but when it abscesses it’s like nothing I’ve ever seen. ..or smelled

Lots of hot soaks until it pops and then relief!

Sounds very difficult. Has your ob/gyn ever prescribed any type of steroid cream for the times in between where it's healed but itchy?

I don't have cyst on  clitoris - but it apears it's slipped down out of it's hood and is  hard and stiff.  Also   there are rashes on both sides of the cliitoriis and on the labias.
Doctors just  talk about the rash and I've seen about 5-6 who don't know, wants me to soak in seawater or take cremes WHICH NONE HAS WORKED - the seawater helped and I found a creme on my own (with help of a friend that is for fungus (men's jock itch  creme)  It helpes but you have to be consitent with useing it.;  It  doesn't help burm, BUT IT DONT BURN, THE RASH ALWAys HURTS AND unless you use a pain     creme you always have the p ain;.    I USE LIDOCATE  2% gel when it hurt  bad and it helpes.   A BOTCHED biopsy  caaused this mess.  I went from a sore with a few bumps in it to a  nightmare and one head dr - told the one doing it she was going too deep.  so one specialist offered to do surgery but didn't   mention the cliotoris - no doctor has  but that's what it is and I sure don't want that cut off.
anybody similar"?

Last year I had a cyst removed beside my clitoris under local. My gyno was certain it was genital warts but I am an STD nurse and knew better. this cyst began forming shortly after I had my 2nd child. Tiny at first and during the course of 4 years it grew to thr size of an orange seed, very light in color...almost prong like. The doc confirmed it wasn't warts but did not know what it was. It was very painful and a new one has grown on my clitoris this time...the first removal did not effect nerves but you just never know. I have an appt with my GP tomorrow...i'll let you know if I find out anything helpful
