Dieting for a month and no weight loss. :(

I am a 41 yr old women 5'3" . I started supplementing two meals with shakes (3 weeks GNC shakes and 1 week Body by Vi shakes) I eat one meal at 500 cals and keep two snacks at 100 to 150 cals. I have lost zero weight...in fact I think I even gained like a pound or two. :( I exercise cardio about 30 min like 3 times a week because I'm a nursing student my schedule is hectic. What am I doing wrong I don't want to get discouraged?

The breakfast is a shake and the dinner will be a shake. I try to get myself to not eat after 6pm (I'm gonna be more strict on that this week). I did start drinking more water (I am not a soda drinker) but I'll amp that up this week too. Thank you for the advice I'm gonna modify things this week see if it helps. I'll keep you posted :)

hi there! My suggestions are to make sure 1) you eat something for breakfast, 2) do not eat ANYTHING after 6 PM, 3) drink 8 glasses of water a day, and 4) eat food and not shakes (it will be more satisfying and also how many calories are in those shakes???) and 5) you need like 4-6 very small "meals" and not 1 at 500 calories. If you only have 1 real meal and it is 500 calories, that needs to be breakfast.
