Does Vaginal Discharge mean something is wrong?

This is a question we often have here and I thought we could share as a group our experience.  Have you ever been worried about vaginal discharge?  What was the outcome?  Did you go to the doctor and when do you decide to go to the doctor or not?

One of the best tests to check on whether your vaginal discharge is 'normal' or not is odor.  It shouldn't smell bad.  It may have a smell that is unique to it but it shouldn't be foul.  If it is, check in with your doctor.  You may have bacterial vaginosis.
