Garlic in vagina

Some people and sources on the internet  have told me the I can treat a yeast infection by putting a whole unbroken clove of garlic in my vagina over night. This is very weird to me. I rather just go to the doctor, but that could get expensive for women who are prone to yeast infections. I'm wondering if anyone has actually tried this garlic treatment and if it actually works or if it's  just a (butter on a burn) kind of myth.

I like the ONE day Monistat because it works faster, has a higher concentration of medicine.  So, maybe talk to your own doctor.  good luck

I use the 7 day monistate it helps lot don't have sex while your treating your yeast infection and make sure you do it every night until you have finished the 7 day treatment so it can clear up the infection my doctor told me it's better to do the 7day than the 3 day treatment

Hi there.  I've heard of this but only know one person that said it worked here on the forum. Something about sticking food and herbs in my vagina doesn't sit well for me.  Probiotic yogurt that you EAT can help (I like Dannon Activia) or a probiotic supplement.  I have used the one day Monastat with success but it takes about two days to work.  Never douch hon.  The doctor can also prescribe an effective medication that works fast.  good luck
