I was slated for surgery after my third son was born. As my OB, with 30 years epxerience stated "Wow, those are the worst ones I have seen...ever" But i chickened out after talking to Peek. Thanks peek, for saving my @ss, literally!

Time really helped to minimize them, preperation H was the most helpful to help with pain and itching, witch hazel wipes helped to clean the delicate area. Also hot baths seemed to offer some relief.

Or 'Piles'. Try that in google too.

They usually go away on their own in time with the help of some over the counter ointments to ease swelling and soreness but really serious cases can require surgery.

It's certainly something, as peekawho says and as I remember myself (ouch), that effects women after giving birth but the only people I know who've needed surgery for them are men!

I'm tempted to say that "Mamarroids" are what Mama gets on her butt after pushing out a baby, but of course I would never say such a thing.

Try googling "Hemorrhoids" instead.
