Sharp pain in left side

The past few weeks I've had a sharp pain in my left side. It just comes and goes, I can be sitting or standing when it happens. I do have IBS. So it could be that? I'm thinking my colon? Any advice?

It could be IBS, it could also be so many other things. Since it's been a few weeks, it's time to get it checked out.

It could be an ovarian cyst, diverticulitis, or a host of other things, but you'll need an exam and maybe some testing to determine that.

Let us know what happens and I hope you feel better soon.
