Oh my goodness that's alot of clomid.   Then I'd be very afraid of it thining the lining of her uterus.  If they only give it to you normally for 5 days per month for 6 months and stop because of thining, I can only imagine what 30 days worth in a row could do.  I really hope someone else can help put some info on here as I've NEVER heard this before.  Sounds kinda crazy if you ask me.

If I were your sister I would call the dr. and ask about this, make sure it's not a mistake and if he/she is determined for your sister to take 30 days worth I would ask the pharmacists.  Something just isn't right.  I've looked online and found no evidence or stories at all where someone has taken it for 30 days in a row.

I would hate for this to hurt her more than help her!!

Well I wish her the best.  Her story sounds familiar.  I have never been pregnant either..we tried it even though I ovulated on my own.  I've been married for going on 14 years and have tried for 9 of those.  After trying everything, even had surgery..we finally got my husband in for a semen analysis and found out it was him.  Has her husband/boyfriend been checked?   Just please warn her of the side effects lol.  MAJOR hot flashes and my ovaries felt like they were going to burst at times.  I hope she gets by without having to experience any, but alot of women experience them.  Oh and also headaches.  I also had a slight vision problem at times.

Also, I think I misunderstood your question from the beginning.  I thought it read that she would be taking it for the whole month, one pill everyday lol and I apologize.  I'm sure you're meaning she'll be taking it for her first month (for the 5 days) and has several more refills for the coming months?

Either way..Wishing her the best!! :)

I was on Clomid..for the 5 days.  I had to take it from cycle day 5-9.  I have NEVER heard of someone being on it for a full month.  I would think it's to much?  What's the reason the dr. has given for giving your sister this medicine for a months worth?  Even when it's given for 5 days, they usually don't let you go over taking 6 months of it because it thins the lining of your uterus.  I can only imagine what taking it for a month would do to the lining.
