Hi this is my first time writing up on here but i need to know an answer it is irritating me badly, my question is that i had my period recently but it only lasted bout a day and thats really weird for me it normally last up to 3 or 4 and i am on the pill so i am worried is there a chance that i could be pregnant because it have been getting headaches and back aches plus nausea and have been very tired can anyone help me i need answers????
hey shaz u must feel lots better now u know ur not prego! i dnt know alot about cysts, but im pretty sure they dnt stop u from getting prego my best friend is prego & she has also has a cyst on her ovaries. & as far as it bursting i dnt think it effects chances of conceiving.

Hey how are you wanting to let you know i am not pregnant :) everything is back to normal oh i am so happy but i also have another question hoping you could help me out with my sister in law has had a ruptured cyst on her ovaries and before it had ruptured they were trying to conceive is there a possiblity having the cyst before hand was preventing them from conceiving?, and also having the ruptured cyst can that prevent them from conceiving in the future. My brother is really freaked and i am trying to do heaps of reasearch for him.. Can you help?

hi guys i took a HPT today! im 3 days late for AF. got a neg result! im so disapointed i really dnt know how people do this month after month! i was sure i was pregnant this time!!! i had lots of symptoms! this is really starting to drive me insane!!!

Hey thanx heaps for your input it makes a lot of sense how you put i have been on antibiotics after i got a really bad fever but i am pretty sure I have had my monthly afterwards though cant remember but i think you are rite i think a test is needed to be done i think it would be the best option i am sorry to hear bout your misacarriages but i hope to god that you will fall pregnant soon but yes not knowing is the hardest i want to thank you so much and i must admit i didnt know headaches were a symptom i just blamed work lol
From reading what you have been discribing, I would say there is a chance you could be pregnant. were you by any chance taking any antibiotics a week or so before your period due? the most common thing I have found with women who are on the pill and get pregnant is that they had taken antibiotics which will cancell out the pill making it possible to conceive. Of course even with out being on any other medications it is still posible to conceive since no birth control is 100% effective.
ok so from what I have gathered from your conversation... you started your period but it only lasted one day instead of your usual 3-4? and you have been having some pregnancy syptoms. so the bleeding you experienced could have been caused by pregnancy. if that is the case then you could take a pregnancy test now. If you feel you never actually received your period then you would be a week or so late. though personally I like to wait till im two weeks late, so I would recommend like kimmien said to wait another week.
I recently miscarriaged in jan. but in Dec when I was late for my period I took a hpt, which came back neg. two days later I took another, which also came back negative, a couple days later I took another...still neg. at this point I started to believe it was all in my head. I really wanted to have a baby and I was just making myself believe that I could be pregnant. after another week my Dr convinced me to take another test which came bk pos. unfortunatly the pergnancy did not last but this is why I like to wait longer before taking a test. in my case seeing a neg just crushed me. so i have decided this tme to wait till next week (which will put me at two weeks late) to see my dr and have a blood test done. ( I don't trust hmt's any more lol)
Hoepfully you will know for sure soon. i know that "not" knowing is the hardest thing whether you are wanting a baby or not.
oh and just in case you wanted to know: I am eperienceing a lot of head aches, some nasea, gassiness, fatigue, irritability. I didn't know this but apparently head aches are a very common symptom of pregnancy.

Oh thats awesome i hope you do by the sounds of i think you would make a great mum :) but i dont know i am thinking it could all be in my head but to be safe probably next week!!! What do you think?
same as you comes & goes, could be all in my head! lol im waiting for AF at the moment ( im trying to conceive by the way) when are you going to do your test?

im really not 100% sure to be honest but its starting to sound like you could be pregnant, but a number of things can effect your period like stress, medication etc. sorry for the personal question but do you have sore breasts or anything like that? i feel it may be to early for you to do a HPT test wait another week if you can. i know its frustrating iv been having similar symptoms but without the headaches. let me know how you get on
there is also something else while i was at work today i had started to bleed not a lot and it was brown and it ws really weird it has been a week since i have finished and then this happens what does it mean do you know at all??
