How did it come about? There must have been you giving some explanation of your symptoms, some discussion, a tentative diagnosis, and an explanation of why the doc suggested bcp's. Did he think you needed a more regular hormone level? (Did he test your hormone levels?) What kind of pelvic pain are you talking about?

Pelvic pain around my period. They did an ultrasound and said everything was normal and she suggested birth control for my pain
Do you bleed heavenly and more days When I was on my period I would have pains worse than cramping and they told me I had endometriosis you should see if they can see if you do..
No. They are normal.  i dont bleed heavy and more days. She stated since  my ultrasound was normal that i can try birth control to see if it helps or if i wanted, i could have a surgery to see if i have endometriosis.
I hope they can help you with your pain .... am 27 years old and I was on birth control since I was in the 8th grade because of my period... I was in a lot pain where it hurt to even walk or get out of bed.. finally last month may 9th I had to have a full hysterectomy....
