Is it possible to get pregnant with irregular periods when you have Hypothyroidism?

I have hypothyroidism which means that my periods are very irregular. last time it came was 2 months ago, yes that's how irregular it is. Anyways I am freaking out whether I am pregnant or not. Yes I am irresponsible for not having protected sex but I'm not sure if i actually am pregnant. sometimes i feel a mild cramp but I usually don't get any cramps when get my period. So i got to bathroom to check if i got my period finally instead i see a white discharge. But lately I've been feeling really horny and get turned on by almost anything. I even felt like throwing up     in my car in the morning a few days back. So i finally took the pregnancy test to check. 2 times. and both times it came negative. To be honest I'm glad I'm not pregnant because I'm not ready just yet but I'm really confused as to what is going on with my body. I have most of the early pregnancy stages symptoms but I'm not sure so Is it possible to get pregnant with irregular periods with hypothyroidism? Can you regulate the irregular periods?

Yes, it is possible.  Someone with hypothyroidism isn't going to ovulate regularly and that is why they/you have long cycles---  but they do ovulate at times (two weeks before they bleed for a period) and if things happen to fall at that time when intercourse happens, pregnancy can occur.  However, do keep in mind that hormones need to be in balance for a viable pregnancy and many with hypothyroidism have hormones out of whack. (I had hypothyroidism for a year and a half, so have been there myself). I had periods every 3 to 4 months during that time.  I doubt you are pregnant.  You've had negative tests. Do you work with your doctor for the hypothyroidism?  Mine self regulated but I was all set to see an endocrinologist right before it did that.  Talk to your doctor about it.  good luck
