You are saying there is pain in her temple on one side that goes down her arm and to her hand?

Lowering your blood pressure as much as your meds has yours can cause you to feel light headed. Make sure you sir on edge of bed before standing then stand until you feel fine. A 150 systolic pressure is not low enough. Notify your physician as your physician may want to adjust your meds to give you a much better pressure as well as lessen your side effects, although blood pressure meds are notorious for causing one to be dizzy or light headed when changing positions to quickly. One size does not fit all. Good luck!

How do you know how low her bp is from the meds?  Just curious. I do think that bp meds can make you dizzy when you first start taking them as well as orthostatic hypotension can happen when you rise quickly. That's that light headed feeling. I also get this with low blood sugar and my son, a young teenager, gets this is he isn't well hydrated. The falling is the dangerous part. I am not sure where you are seeing her bp nubers.  A 150, top or bottom is problematic, for sure!!  When I started bp medication, the dizziness was short lived.  Within about 3 weeks I felt normal again.  (thank goodness). Thanks for your input.
This is not the post that my answer was referring to. In the post this answer belongs to they stated tht b/p was 150's. Hope this answers your perplexity over the b/p. I didnt just pull the answer out of my hat. Im a medical professional not magician, haha!

My mom used to get headaches in the temple and while the doctor told her they weren't an indicator of anything serious, he thought it might have to do with the fact that she had arthritis in her upper spine.
