Isn't it too early for bleeding?

My dh and I have been ttc for several years now. Finally last month my doctor put me on metformin and thyroid meds. I still did not get my period so she gave me provera to help get my period. It worked like a charm and within a few days of my ten days on provera I got a period for 7 days. I started on the first of December. I have not been charting my bbt or anything like that but last weekend which would be about day 12 of my cycle, I felt some wierd cramps while out shopping. From what I have read it seemed like it could possibly be ovulation pains. On day 13 and 14 my husband and I had unprotected sex. Today on day 17 I just went to the bathroom and when I wiped there was a light pink spotting on my toilet paper. My first thought was implantation bleeding, but isn't this too soon for this?
