Lower Abdominal Pain?

I have pain in the lower abdominal area.  It's constant, but every once in awhile it will hurt worse, like a spasm.  Which I have had for 5 days now.  Urine and bowel movements are normal.  It doesn't burn when I pee.  I've had some vaginal discharge, but it doesn't smell.  No fever.  I'm constantly queasy, but no vomiting.  I had unprotected sex a 8 days ago.  The last day of my period was 15 days ago. What could be wrong with me?

did you just go to a regular dr.  did you go to an ob/gyn.  maybe you should have a CT scan or something  cause that's how they found my thing.

I had my period right on time.  So, the doctor put me on birth control, he said that it should help with the thickened endometrial stripe.  He said he's not worried about it at all though.  I still have pain in the lower left (like always), except it comes and goes now.  He also put me on AcipHex, which he said he put me on to see if it works for me.  I don't have heartburn or Acid Reflux, so I have no clue.  I think he's just bewildered over the situation, and is trying anything at this point.
I'm still very concered as to why no one seems to know why I'm having troubles.

I got my test results back from the ultra sound, he said there was nothing abnormal.  Only that I have a thickened endometrial stripe, that measures 1.1cm, which is normal when you get closer to your period.  The test was done on 11-20-07.  I still have to wait until 11-30-07 for my period.
For some reason, I couldn't find anywhere on the internet how thick the endometrial stripe should be.  If anyone knows (source) please post.  Thanks!

lizzy142 - please KIT and let me know what your results are?

So I think I had the same thing your are talking about. I went to my Dr. for a PAP and had some ultrasounds done and I had a cyst on my left ovary, but my pain was on both sides. So my Dr. said that my pain most likely was not being caused by the cyst but by  endometriosis. I really think that this might be your problem. My Dr. put me on birth control so I will only have 4 periods a month. I've been on it for a little over 4 months now and since I started taking birth control my pain has stopped! Talk to your Dr. and see if they think this might be possible for you. Let me know how things go!

I've been having the same problem you are , in my lower left pelvis , a dull ache that sometimes gets worse and sometimes goes away, for 8 days now.  I am not scheduled to go to the dr. until 12/7 for a yearly, and he has no other openings until then.  So I'm curious about what your ultrasound said.  I do not really have any nausea right now.

I went to 2 different doctors this weekend.  One said he felt a mass on my left ovary and suggested an ultra sound.  Then I went to see my regular phisician and he said he didn't feel any abnormalities.  He gave me a shot for my nausea, which helped a lot!  I was also prescribed Reglan for the nausea. Tuesday, I go for my ultra sound.

Today I took a pregnancy test, even though it'll be 14 days before I get my period.  It came up negative.  I know that even if I was pregnant, it would not show this early on a home test, but I had to try.
Also, starting today, my lower left side where my ovary is started to hurt worse than my right side.  It doesn't hurt when I push on it though.

So I had my pee tested and I don't have any infections.  The doctor said if I still have these cramps in a couple of weeks to come back.
I looked up my symptoms and the most common suggestions are cysts or pregnancy.

No bloating at all.

I called my dr's office and they said it might be a UTI, so I'm going to go get tested for that tomorrow.  Only, it doesn't burn when I pee and I thought that is what happens if it's a UTI.  If that comes up negative, I have to wait til the beginning of December to see the OBGYN.
