Lump when inserting tampon?

Hi there... new here... just had a question...

When I insert a tampon... I feel like there is a lump or something on the right side of the vagina cannel.  When I remove the tampon it is curved... like there is something there.  I also have sharp pain in my right front lower abdomen.  The pain comes once in a while (sometimes a couple of times a day... sometimes once or twice a day) and only lasts anywhere from 30 seconds to a few minutes.

Has anyone experienced this?  Does anyone have any ideas?

Don't know about the bump but some women get dull pain in their abdomen when they're ovulating.

I am not really educated about this, but I do have a personal experience to share with you. I have a weird uterus/cervix. Mine is really low. I can put my finger inside and feel the opening. I have been able to for a while now. When I use tampons, I have to make sure I insert them towards my lower back or I will hit it. It doesnt hurt, but it just feels like pressure. If my bf accidentally hits it during sex, it is painful, but my Gyno says its not much to worry about. If it hurts you or concerns you much, I would make an appointment with your Gyno.
