Tailbone swelling/growth?

About 5 days ago I noticed pain in my tailbone area when I rolled over in bed. It was dull pain, like a bruise; it felt like the pain was coming from the bone itself or right next to it. It only hurt when I moved certain ways or put pressure on it. Now it's the same, except about 3 days ago I also noticed swelling or a growth of some kind, right over where the pain spot is. At first I wasn't sure it was there, but now I am, and it feels like it's gotten bigger.
It's not a Pilonidal cyst (it's about 1-2 inches lower than that, and well beneath the skin, just barely atop the bone).
I haven't injured it recently. I'm 21, healthy weight, never been pregnant, no history of bone or muscle issues. Has anyone else here ever experienced this, or have any idea what it could be? The pain isn't severe but the growth really has me worried...
