There will always be a significant smell down there. Healthy diet, drink lots of water, clean the outside with unscented soap if you want. But the vagina is self cleaning. As soon as you put anything in there, it can change the pH balance ( including water!!) And you can get a yeast infection because of that. Always wear clean clothes, clean underwear , shower regularly, and I just want to add, if you have hair down there, hair holds on to odor. So sugar, wax or shave it off.

You can buy a product called Refresh at any dtugstore or walmart. It's a gel that you insert up there kind of like you use a tampon. The gel helps normalize the ph balance and the smell will go away. Go to the gyn if it does not go away after one day of using the Refresh.

Use a nonscented soap like dove for sensitive skin or baby soap. Regular soap tends to interrupt the balance of bacteria of the vagina, and that in turn can cause an odour. Your diet as well plays a role in your vaginal scent.
