Negative pregnancy test via blood, high progesterone level. Can I be pregnant?

I had an IUI done two weeks ago ovulating on my right side, which has no tube but they did it anyway. I went in for the blood work and when the nurse called me she asked if I was on progesterone medication. which I am not, because I had a negative pregnancy test but a high progesterone level of 14 so they don’t know what is going on. They said if I don’t get my period in two days, I have to go back in for more blood work. She also mentioned that I may have ovulated late. So, there is no way I can be pregnant, right?

It's possible that the test for pregnancy was too early if you ovulated late.

That is what the nurse said so if I wasn’t ovulating at the time of the IUI procedure, then there is no way I can be pregnant, I am assuming.
Well, don't assume too fast. Sperm can live a few days in your body; some doctors say 3-4 days but some research says 5 or even 6 days. A few more days will tell.  : )
So, have you tested again? What was the result?
