Not thrush or BV

For the past 7 months I have been having abdominal pains, itching, increased discharge (runny and grey in color),swollen & inflammed vulva/vaginal area. Been tested for thursh, bv & several sti's all of which came back normal. I have had antibiotics for bv & numerous pills/pessarys for thrush which has no effect at all! My symptoms seem to be worse after my period & using canesten thursh cream made the itching worse. The doctors have no idea what could be wrong & I'm at my wits end. Any suggestions on what could be the problem ?

Gotcha.  What I'm saying though is that they can look at the discharge under a microscope and SEE what is in it.  That's how they see if you have BV or yeast.  They really just look at it.  And if it isn't that, they often can tell you what else it is.  There are other fungal issues that cause itching and discharge. I have heard some women have issues just after period---  what kind of sanitary items do you use?  Could you be allergic to your tampons, for example?

Did they swab the discharge?  Most doctors do this, look at it under the microscope and tell you what it is.  Has yours swabbed you?
