OT. Many dreams that my teeth are falling out.

This is so weird. The past couple months Ive been having dreams about every second night, that my teeth are loose and falling out. I cant figure out why, I take care of my teeth and are very proud of them and all the money and work my parents put into braces. Thats the only thing I can thing of is that Im worried all that work will go to waste.

Anyone else have dreams like this?

I had this dream all the time as a teenager.  My teeth would either get so loose they fell out or just crumble.  Now I have it once or twice a year.

Hmm i had o idea anyone else would have experienced this too. In my dreams, its not like a Look-in-the-mirror-and-see-them-gone thing, its an I-can-feel-it-coming -out-and-the-roots-coming-out thing.

I have these type of dreams often too. I have googled it also. Interesting about loosing control in own life. I also read that its because we are so caught up in appearance and all of that. So it would be awful if we lost our teeth or something to that matter. I wouldn't look to much into it. But if its stressing you out try de-stressing and thinking happy thoughts as you drift off!! Good luck.

There is nothing physically wrong with your teeth if you are only having this dream and not other dental problems. This is a very common dream that can be open to interpretation in various ways. The most common interpretation is that your "teeth" are "loose" because you feel as if you are losing control of some aspect of your life. Or, you are trying hard to hold on to something and not let go.

I used to have those dreams all the time!  As in every night!  Try googling it.  When I did I came up with tons of different interpretations but each site said it is the most common dream to have.

I've had that dream too.
It turned out that I was grinding my teeth (due to nervous tension) during my sleep.
So, the subconscious anxiety plus the soreness from clenching my teeth manifested
itself into that bizarre dream.

I have had dreams about teeth falling out very frequently! I have HEARD (does not translate into believe) that it means that you are afraid of a transition, such as growing up. Funny, because I did used to have them more frequently when I was a teenager and did have such fears. For the record, I have never had a cavity nor any problems with my teeth, so I definitely don't think it's an omen for tooth problems. It probably doesn't mean anything, because I think it's a pretty common thing to dream about, weird as that is.
