Ovarian cancer?

I've been having many cervical cancer symptoms lately that are scaring me. What are the chances of getting cervical cancer at 17 when you haven't had sex before? I also had a pap smear done a week ago.. would that show pre cancerous cells?

Hello,
Chances of cervical cancer at your age are very less. PAP smear is the first test for cervical cancer and if it is normal then there is nothing much to worry about and you should get regular PAP smears done per annum. However since you have not had intercourse, it would be better to get the HPV vaccine as HPV is the commonest cause of cervical cancer.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
