Dry itchy patches on my Vagina

Hey,

About 3 years ago I was using hair removal cream on my Vagina (I know, not a good idea) At some point I may have left it on for too long and I now have two dry red/pink areas on the top side lips of my vagina (Outter). I haven't used hair removal cream since and I still have this dry red/pink itchy patches. I don't know how to fix them.

Please help.

Yes, It sounds consistent with eczema, which can usually be easily controlled with a steroid cream.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
This patch can be due to eczema. I suggest you to get the diagnosis confirmed from a dermatologist after examination. Steroids is one of the best treatment for eczema but it should be used only under medical supervision as it can cause skin thinning and atrophy. For the itching you can take antihistaminics like Benadryl or levocetrizine.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
